Findings
There is almost bilateral symmetrical area of restricted diffusion seen in the temporo-occipital and parietal periventricular white matter, involving the optic radiation., posterior limb of both internal capsule, bilateral peri-rolandic subcortical white matter, involving the cortico spinal tract, small area in the splenium of corpus callosum, both half of midbrain and dorsal Pons on DW images, which is iso to hyperintense on T2 weighted, flair images.
Subtle elevated diffusion is also seen in the bilateral optic tracts with trilaminar pattern in posterior limb of internal capsule on T2w images.
