Findings
There is a focal area of hyperintense signal intensity at the inferolateral aspect of the patellofemoral joint and the within the superolateral portion of the infrapatellar fat pad.

No evidence of meniscal tear.
The ACL and PCLS are intact.
Mild joint effusion.
Patellar and quadriceps tendon are intact.
Medial and lateral patellar retinaculum are intact.
Articular cartilage is intact.
Diagnosis
Patellar tendon-lateral femoral condyle friction syndrome.
