Findings
A well defined T2W hyperintense lesion with T2W hypointense capsule measuring 2.8x2.6x2.4 cm is seen in right temporal lobe. It shows restricted diffusion in the central component. Linear peripheral enhancement is seen on post contrast images. No solid mural nodule is seen. Single septum is seen within.

Surrounding vasogenic edema is seen extending to right parietal lobe.

Mass effect is seen in the form of compression of right lateral ventricle.
Diagnosis
In view of T2W hypointense capsule , restricted diffusion in the central necrotic component and linear peripheral enhancement without solid mural nodule diagnosis of tubercular abscess is favored over glioma.
