Findings
- Moderate multi localated hyperintense collection measuring 43x30x31 mm (SIxTRxAP) is seen just deep to the ilio tibial band and lateral to lateral femoral condyle. Thickening and waving of ilio tibial band also seen.
Mild lateral subluxation of patella with Grade I strain of medial retinaculum is seen near patellar attachment.
- Minimal joint effusion noted.

Diagnosis
Moderate multi loculated hyperintense collection just deep to the ilio tibial band and lateral to lateral femoral condyle with thickening and waving of iliotibial band – suggestive of ilio tibial band friction syndrome.
Mild lateral subluxation of patella with Grade I strain of medial retinaculum near patellar attachment and minimal joint effusion.
