Findings
Right putamen shows T1 hyperintensity measuring 34x15 mm, it appears hyperintense on T2 and FLAIR. No SWI blooming is seen to suggest hemorrhage. No diffusion restriction is seen within. No surrounding edema/ mass effect seen.
Diagnosis
Right putamen hyperintensity – most likely non ketotic hyperglycemia (diabetic striatopathy).
