Findings
Symmetrical T2 & FLAIR hyperintensities with restricted diffusion noted in the bilateral caudate & lentiform nucleus and bilateral inferior cerebellar lobes, dentate nucleii, dorsal brainstem, and deep periventricular white matter with involvement of central tegmental tracts.

Symmetrical areas of blooming noted in the bilateral basal ganglia and deep periventricular white matter suggestive of calcifications.
Diagnosis
Imaging features are suggestive of Mitochondrial Cytopathy, probably Leigh Syndrome
