Thalamic glioma

Findings
A well defined T2/FLAIR heterogenously hyperintense lesion is seen in the left thalamus, which shows heterogenous enhancement on post contrast sequences suggesting central necrosis; no evidence of peritumoral edema or hemorrhage.

Mild displacement and effacement of the third ventricle by the mass lesion with NO evidence of hydrocephalus noted.
Diagnosis
Left thalamic low grade glioma (WHO grade II)
