Dysphagia Megalatriensis

Findings
A left paramidline posterior diverticulum of size 3x3 cms seen at C7, T1 and T2 levels from the oesophagus .
Left atrium is markedly dilated with a height of 7.8 cms. The upper and mid 1/3 of oesophagus are dilated with normal wall thickness. Abrupt narrowing seen at t6 level with no e/o shouldering.
Whole of oesophagus distal to this level is compressed with normal wall thickness.
GE junction is normal.
Diagnosis
Dysphagia megalatriensis ( cardiac dysphagia).
No e/o malignancy .
Zenker's diverticulum at C7 /T1 level.
