Right Knee Joint : Plain
Technique
Multiplanar multiecho MRI knee has been performed.
Findings

Both medial and lateral menisci show normal size, shape and MR morphology. No evidence of meniscal degeneration or tear. No signs of discoid meniscus.

Anterior cruciate, posterior cruciate, medial collateral, lateral collateral and postero-lateral corner ligaments appear normal.

No significant joint effusion, synovial thickening or intraarticular loose bodies. Hoffa's fat pad appears normal.

The quadriceps and patellar tendons are normal. Medial and lateral retinaculum appear normal.

No collection is seen in the periarticular bursae. The pes anserine tendons are normal.

The visualized muscles are normal.

Femoral, tibial and patellar cartilage appear normal. No obvious chondromalacia patellae or osteochondral defect.

Trochlea show normal morphology. No evidence of trochlear dysplasia. No significant patella tilt, alta or baja.

The marrow signal of visualized regions of femur, tibia, fibula and patella appear normal.

No evidence of lytic destructive lesion, significant osteoarthritis, fracture, marrow edema or periosteal reaction in visualized bones.

The visualized subcutaneous and deep fat planes appear unremarkable.

Impression
  • MRI study of left Knee Joint is within normal limits.
