Left Shoulder Joint : Plain
Technique
Without IV contrast SE, TSE, IR and GRE sequences. PD, STIR coronal. PD, T2W sagittal and T2, STIR axial.
Findings

The shoulder joint shows normal alignment and morphology. No evidence of joint dislocation or subluxation. No significant intracapsular joint effusion.

The supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor and subscapularis tendons show normal signal intensity on all sequences. No evidence of rotator cuff tendinopathy or tear is present.

The acromion process shows normal morphology.

The acromio-clavicular joint is normal. The subacromial space is well maintained.  No evidence of impingement or subacromial bursitis is present.

The glenoid labrum shows normal signal intensity and morphology. The biceps labral complex and biceps tendon appear normal. No evidence of fluid is seen in the bicipital groove.

The upper end of the humerus including the greater and lesser tuberosity and visualized portions of the scapula show no abnormality.

The visualized muscles around the shoulder joint appear normal.

  • No significant abnormality detected in left shoulder joint.
