Technique
AP and open/closed mouth lateral oblique views of temporomandibular joints (TMJ) are submitted. 
Findings

Bilateral mandibular condyle heads are normal in appearance and well placed within temporomandibular fossa on closed mouth views.

Open mouth views demonstrate normal anterior translation of mandibular condyle just underneath the articulate eminence.

No joint space loss to suggest articular disc injury or degeneration.

Impression
  • Normal radiographic appearance of bilateral TMJ.  

MRI may be considered if symptoms persist.
