Study was done after oral consumption of appropriately diluated barium sulphate solution under floroscopic guidance. Films were taken after appropriate interval of time. 
Findings

There was free flow of barium from oral cavity to stomach.

Oropharynx appears normal.

Both valleculae, pyriform sinuses appear normal.

Post cricoid region appears normal.

The esophagus show normal calibre, contour, motility and mucosal pattern.

The gastro-esophageal junction is normal.

No hiatus hernia is seen.

Impression
  • No significant abnormality is detected in the present study.
