Brain : Plain & Contrast
Technique

Plain and contrast CT Scan was carried out on Multi detector scanner.  Axial sections from base of skull to cranial vault were obtained and evaluated.

Findings

Both cerebral hemispheres show normal CT-attenuation values in plain study. 

Basal ganglia and thalami appear normal. Brainstem, cerebellar hemispheres and vermis appear normal. 

Post contrast study show no obvious abnormal enhancing focus or mass lesion in brain parenchyma. No abnormal leptomeningeal or dural enhancement. 

Ventricular system appears normal. 

There is no midline shift. 

Basal cisterns are normal. 

Sella and suprasellar regions are normal. 

Skull vault appears normal. 

Visualised portions of orbits and paranasal sinuses are normal.

Impression
  • CT Brain study is within normal limits.
