Dynamic post contrast thin slice. Six phase coronal sections for pituitary gland.

Immediate post contrast thin slice axial, coronal, sagittal sections for pituitary gland.

Findings

There is normal progressively increasing homogeneous enhancement of anterior pituitary gland.

No focal hypointense area seen within anterior pituitary gland.

Pituitary stalk is seen in midline and shows normal thickness and enhancement.

Normal posterior pituitary bright spot is visualized.

 

 

The cerebral cortex and underlying white matter are unremarkable.

No focal area of altered signal intensity is seen.


The deep nuclei are unremarkable.

 

The cerebellum and brainstem are unremarkable.

 

The ventricular system and the basal cisterns appear normal.

 

There is no shift of the midline structures identified. 

 

The intracranial ICA and vertebro-basilar arteries reveal normal flow void.

 

Diffusion imaging reveals no abnormality.

 

Impression

No significant abnormality is seen in the brain.

 

Kindly correlate clinically & with laboratory parameters.
