Technique
Colour Doppler study of both carotid arterial systems is done with duplex scanner.
Findings
Both common carotid, internal carotid and external carotid arteries show normal appearance of intima.
No significant plaque disease.
Colour doppler study shows normal flow in both CCAs, ICAs and ECAs. No evidence of any significant stenosis noted. All the vessels show normal spectral velocity wave form.
Both vertebral arteries show normal antegrade flow.
Impression
- No significant abnormality detected.
